Department of Industrial and Systems EngineeringThe Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering was established in 1977. Currently, 152 undergraduate and 41 graduate students are enrolled as Industrial and Systems Engineering majors under the guidance of eight full time and one adjunct professors . The department has laboratories for Methods Engineering, Human Factors, Decision Support Systems, Robotics Systems, Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Artificial Intelligent Applications, Human-Machine Systems Engineering, Efficiency Improvement and Materials Handling. The Industrial and Systems Engineering Department is supported by the College of Engineering, the University, and a number of industries and organizations.
